Ring Back Tone (RBT) Service is part of Value Added Service (VAS) through mobile internet service which means that it is running through the existing network infrastructures as the Voice Call, Data Service through mobile internet service and messagging. To enable this service, telecommunication company need only to insert new application system which responsible to process and manage the request from subscribers. Application system is integrated with Mobile Switching Centre (MSC). While a session is going on (someone make a call), the MSC will forward the tone request to the RBT application system and then application system will response the request by appearing the Ring Back Tone has been chosen by subscriber (B number)

A few second after you push send bottom on your mobile phone, the message will be sent and arrived to your destination phone number and then a message you are sending can be read by your friend or family. Normal condition, it only needs a few second to receive a message sent by originating phone number but if the network infrastructures handle the SMS traffic experience a problem either network transmission or SMSC itself, it could take more than 1 hour to receive a message.
