3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) is giving more opportunity for mobile telecommunication provider to increase the demand of mobile broadband service. 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) will allow migration of fix to mobile of internet application such as Voice over IP (VOIP), video streaming, music downloading service, mobile TV etc. LTE is the pillar of the next generation network which emphases several below key concepts;

To meet such requirement, LTE should have technical specification such as low latency and high throughput, efficient always on operation to network, support to the many application including real time and non real time service. LTE also should have flexible spectrum allocation and re-use of existing network infrastructure.
The goal is mobile broadband provider can increase the ARPU with addition less network infrastructures but can reach high performance than current service. Beside the network infrastructures, mobile broadband provider also needs to consider the device that will be used by user (wireless broadband modem)
LTE as the pillar of the next generation networks requires some set of minimum performance such as able to deliver up to five times greater capacity than current 3G network, has lower cost per bit, improve the quality of experience (QoE)
