1. The first step, you need to download and install the Verizon Access Manager Software. However if you already have, you do not need to install it
2. Click on “Help,” then “About” to check the version. Ensure that you have at least v 7.2 installed or higher. Click on “Help,” then “Check for Updates” to update the software.
3. Insert your Verizon Mobile Broadband-compatible modem when prompted by the software. Complete the software update or installation
4. Click on the “Wi-Fi Locations” tab in the Verizon Access Manager software, and search for a Verizon Wi-Fi location nearby. Visit the Wi-Fi location with your laptop and Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband modem.
5. Power on your laptop, and double-click the “VZ Access” software on your desktop. Insert your Mobile Broadband modem.
6. Turn on your laptop’s wireless antenna if it is not currently enabled.
7. Click on “Verizon Wi-Fi Access” in the “Available Networks” box, then click on the “Connect Wi-Fi” button.
