Current online Value Added Service (VAS) such as chatting online, mig33, IM etc require some effort from mobile subscriber’s side. Mobile telecommunication subscribers should download a IM tool such as gtalk , yahoo messenger, etc, or online chatting tool provided by telecommunication company it self. Usually telecommunication companies offer online service with the application tool provided by them so then mobile telecommunication subscriber should download online chatting tool before they start to make a chat or join to the room. Mobile telecommunication subscriber should download the chatting tool through GPRS network or CDMA network and activate them on their mobile phone. As we know that while downloading process, it could get call drop and getting failure and they have pay for downloading. To provide chatting or Instant Messaging (IM) tool which will be available on the mobile phone, telecommunication companies should provide online chatting server (application server) so then each client inserted on the mobile phone can communicate with each other through the tool chatting. Application server will process the entire of process so then each client can communicate to each other. Meanwhile on the client, subscriber did not need to download chatting or Instant Messaging (IM) tool since it already inserted on the mobile.

Bundling mobile phone is one of the favorite’s products while telecommunication companies plan to launch new telecommunication service. Many benefits they can get such as offering several packages on the single mobile phones and protecting the mobile telecommunication subscriber and avoid them to migrate to their competitor. Mobile telecommunication subscribers are getting many benefits as well such as cheap price but high features etc

Almost telecommunication companies in Indonesia are doing the same to provide bundling mobile phone with exclusive packages which only they can get on this bundling mobile phone. To provide massive bundling mobile phone, telecommunication companies cooperate with one or more manufactures (vendors) such as Nokia, Huawei and Nexian. Bakrie Telecom, Smart Telecom and Telkom are several telecommunication companies which offering bundling mobile phone while they launch new product and cooperate with manufactures (vendors) above. Huawei is becoming the main manufacture which hand in hand with Bakrie Telecom to provide new bundling mobile phone such Huawei series C28xx, Huwei Series C51xx and Huawei Series C61xx

However, there could be some issues while telecommunication companies provide bundling mobile phone to their mobile telecommunication subscribers. Bundling mobile phone is used to embed with the client application installed on the mobile phone to send and receive particular application. For example bundling mobile phone with BREW technology, beside inside those mobile phones are inserted with BREW platform, telecommunication companies will add more client application so then they can send and receive particular application

The big issue that could comes on bundling mobile phone which inserted with BREW platform and client application is miss configuration on the client application. If this problem happens than telecommunication companies should collect the entire of bundling mobile phone which already on the market and fix them. This is hard to do especially if telecommunication companies already sell hundreds thousands bundling mobile phone to the market

The second issue is problem on the application server. Bundling mobile phone which embedded BREW platform and client application will keep communicate to the application server while mobile telecommunication subscribers access the application. If suppose the application server is not running properly than the entire of those bundling mobile phone will experience a problem while mobile telecommunication subscribers access the application
