Actually there will be many telecommunication network infrastructures which involve to the broadband internet service and high risk to have a problem such as Radio Frequency (RF) capacity on Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and international internet bandwidth capacity. Mobile broadband internet service such as 3G and EVDO require huge capacity on both RF and internet bandwidth. It is very crucial to make sure the availability of both RF and internet bandwidth capacity to avoid undesired things such as lack of bandwidth and RF capacity. As the result, mobile telecommunication subscribers will experience slow speed during access to internet using mobile broadband internet service

Telecommunication companies will do some efforts to reduce huge complaints while lack of resource on both telecommunication network infrastructures which support mobile broadband internet service happen. What they will do to make sure availability on both resources are:

1. Monitoring to the traffic of international gateway

Telecommunication companies will have gateway router to international gateway where traffic from mobile broadband internet service comes and goes to international internet gateway. The utilization of router interface toward international gateway is very critical to be monitored every single minute. Telecommunication companies are used to have a graphic monitoring tool to indicate how much bandwidth capacity of mobile broadband internet service was occupied by subscribers. Usually router interface has bandwidth capacity higher than internet bandwidth it self which has only around 50-100 Mbps whereas router interface could reach 1 Gbps.  Telecommunication companies will keep monitoring to the pattern traffic of international bandwidth on this router and once it saturates, they need to do some efforts such as increasing the bandwidth of mobile broadband internet service. Monitoring to the traffic pattern of this bandwidth is also to make sure that once traffic is dropped suddenly, quick response can be executed

2. Monitoring to the capacity of each BTS

To the telecommunication companies which has dedicated channel for broadband internet service purpose, there will be no interruption from voice service once the RF capacity reach the maximum capacity. Meanwhile to the telecommunication companies which combining between voice and data channels, usually they set higher priority to the voice service rather than data. As the result, there will be more often lack of RF resource for data service. Telecommunication companies will monitor each of BTS to indicate which one has saturated traffic and they will take necessary action once it happens
