Since <strong>mobile broadband service</strong> requires high <strong>bandwidth</strong> <a href="http://telecomandinternet.com/utilizing-mobile-internet-service/"><em><strong>utilization</strong></em></a>, <strong>optimization</strong> on <strong><a href="http://telecomandinternet.com/transport-technology-of-mobile-internet-service/"><em>transport layer</em></a> </strong>will affect to the entire of mobile <a href="http://telecomandinternet.com/what-is-mobile-broadband/"><em><strong>broadband </strong></em></a>performance.</p>
<p><strong>Data optimization</strong> on <strong>transport layer</strong> includes replacing the current low <strong>capacity</strong> of <strong>transmission </strong>network into higher capacity. Traditional <strong>network</strong> to serve traditional service (voice and SMS) will require several E1 transmissions to connect one <strong>BTS</strong> to the <strong>BSC</strong>. To meet to requirement on <strong>mobile broadband service</strong>, this connection should be upgraded to the higher capacity link e.g. <strong>optical fiber</strong>, <a href="http://telecomandinternet.com/optical-fiber-sdh-and-satellite-transmission/"><em><strong>SDH/SONET</strong></em></a> since there will be huge traffic will flow on this transport layer from the mobile broadband customer that may come together at the same time. <strong>Data optimization</strong> on this <strong>transport layer</strong> should be planned preciously and detailed. Some areas where mobile broadband customer is very significant should have bigger capacity on transport layer rather than rural area</p>
<h1><strong>Telecommunication network</strong></h1>
<p>Another part of <strong>telecommunication network </strong>which should be optimized to have affordable mobile <strong>broadband service</strong> is <strong>technology</strong> platform which serving mobile broadband service. Evolution on telecommunication technology should be planned integrated by utilizing current technology. Mobile broadband <strong>provider</strong> with 3G platform should plan to migrate to the <strong>4G technology</strong> as the next platform. Meanwhile mobile broadband provider with <strong>EVDO Rev A</strong> platform should plan to migrate to the <a href="http://telecomandinternet.com/migrating-to-the-next-technology-cdma1x-to-evdo/"><em><strong>EVDO Rev B</strong></em></a> to produce high speed internet access than previous platform.</p>
<p><strong>Data optimization </strong>in these strategies is very expensive and need long term vision to develop. More over, integrating with current <strong>telecommunication network</strong> is mandatory to reduce the cost. Actually the cheaper data optimization on mobile broadband service is available and some of<strong> mobile broadband provider</strong> implement it to provide optimum service</p>
