Who are supporting telecommunication business?

Telecommunication Company can not run the entire of telecommunication services without supporting from one or more three parties companies. The three parties companies which required for supporting Telecommunication Company at least two companies, they are called as vendors and content providers

1. Vendor company

Vendor is responsible to provide network infrastructures needed by Telecommunication Company to run a telecommunication service. Right now there are many types of support given by vendors to the telecommunication company. It was that Telecommunication Company should buy the entire of network infrastructures they will deploy. Vendor will responsible to install and maintain by contract agreement for certainty period and once the contract agreement is over, they can extend or cut it. In this scenario Telecommunication Company should invest much money to buy all of telecommunication infrastructures and they could come from. The infrastructures they should buy e.g. Home Location Register (HLR), Home Visitor Register (VLR), Mobile Switching Centre (MSC), more than a thousand Base Transceiver Station (BTS), Base Station Controller (BSC), Short Messaging Service Centre (SMSC), transmission system etc. they are needed to support the core network of telecommunication service and still many else needed to support more services

The new scenario is called Managed Service (MS). In this scenario vendor responsible to plan, install, operate and maintain the entire of telecommunication network day to day. Some Telecommunication Company make a deal with them that vendor should invest their equipment and share revenue they achieve. On the Managed Service (MS) scenario, Telecommunication Company will focus to create a telecommunication products and services and trying to get subscribers as many as possible

2. Content Providers (CP)

Content Providers responsible to provide many services offered by Telecommunication Company to their subscribers such as download content service. They also provide applications needed by Telecommunication Company to support their services such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, call centre purpose. The types of cooperation also could many ways. Some of them should deploy their own application and some should just provide the contents

Actually, there are more three parties involved to the telecommunication business such as sub contractor whom usually responsible to install the telecommunication equipments
